WHY CHANT INDIA !!!

SMILE Charitable Trust is an NGO dedicated towards providing support for the education and welfare of underprivileged children. The proceeds generated from CHANT INDIA is in aid of Karnataka SMILE’s SWACHALAYA Project.

Karnataka SMILE SWACHALAYA aims to improve basic sanitary facilities for the underprivileged communities, with a special focus on educational institutions. SMILE has so far identified 500 and more schools which are in dire need of properly equipped toilet facilities for girls. These schools are located both in some urban outskirts and remote rural areas too.The entire project is expected to yield by 5 years bearing in mind numerous social, promotional and awareness programs.

The proceeds from the Chant India series will be channelized into the SWACHALAYA project. We solemnly seek support from everyone be it individuals or government or the corporate to help in mobilizing and raising funds of such a large project.

Maintenance is our MANTRA Most of the toilets being construcetd by various organizations are redundant and are in an unusable condition due to non maintenance.

Smile Charitable Trust is the only organization as of today who takes up the responsibility of maintaining the toilets after construction for 20 years.

Complementing the show time line, the main agenda of constructing toilets for the girl child is the Catch. SMILE Swachalaya has completed more than 50 toilets so far.

This will be the biggest ever singing show audition for a cause.

Chant India Season 2 will be a platform in two separate categories ; SOLO & GROUP.

Song choice - You are allowed to sing your choice of song in any language for the audition.

SOLO Entry

  1. Participants can be of any age
  2. Participants are allowed to sing in any language
  3. No instruments are allowed in the audition for accompaniment
  4. Each participant is allowed a maximum of 3 minutes. However the judges' decision in this matter will be final & binding.
  5. Audition registration fee for SOLO entry : INR 3000/- per person

GROUP Entry

  1. Participants can be of any age
  2. Participants are allowed to sing in any language.
  3. No instruments are allowed in the audition for accompaniment
  4. The group should comprise of minimum 4 singers and a maximum of 12 singers. You may have a group of all male singers or all female singers or a combination of both.
  5. Each group is allowed a maximum of 4 minutes. However, the judges' decision in this matter will be final & binding.
  6. Audition registration fee for GROUP is INR 10,000/-
